  1. Screw the fixing clamp into the underside of the fixture from which the blind is to hang. For timber use 3/4 x no 8 woodscrews. For concrete or plaster use 1" x no 8 woodscrews and rawplugs. The clamps must be inline with each other and set approx, 100mm (4") from the end of the headrail. Clamps must not be placed more than 1200mm (47") apart. The headrail clips into th espring bracket as shown in the figure below. For 127mm (5") louvers, position the centre joint of the clamps 75mm (3") from the window, window handles or wall and for 89mm (3 1/2") louvers 57mm (2 1/4").

  2. Special fixing brackets are supplied for the face fixing to window frame or wall. They should be fitted approx. 100mm (4") from the end of the headrail and not more than 1200mm (47 1/4") apart using 3/4" x no 8 woodscrews for wood fixing or 1" x no 8 woodscrews and rawplugs for concrete or plaster.

  3. Lift the headrail up to the clamps, inserting the lip into the front groove of the track. Then push up the rear edge of the track until the rear lip of the brackets spring into the groove on the back of the headrail.
